ABOUT

Dato’ Lee Khee Meng, aged 46 is a Malaysian male. He is the Executive Director of the Company and was appointed to the Board on 30 July 2021, where he is responsible for overseeing and managing the overall plantation operations of our Group.

A summary of his qualifications and working experiences are set out below:



EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION
  • Diploma in Economics from University of London
  • Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Economics and Management from University of London, United Kingdom
  • Certified Credit Professional examinations from Institut Bank-Bank Negara (now known as Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers)
  • Member of Incorporated Society of Planters
  • Member of Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia

EXPERIENCE
  • Began his career as Graduate Trainee, Corporate Banking in Public Finance Berhad (now known as Public Bank Berhad) in 2000. Left the bank as Senior Officer of its Corporate Loans Department in 2002
  • Joined AXA Affin Assurance Berhad in 2002 as Business Analyst in its Corporate Planning and Business Development Department, and left in 2005
  • Joined United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Berhad in 2005 as Account Relationship Manager in its Commercial Lending Division, and left in 2006
  • Served as Chief Financial Officer and further promoted to Director of Operations and Finance of Haus Living Concepts Sdn Bhd, from 2006 to 2007 and from 2007 to 2008, respectively
  • Between 2008 to 2010, he was accepted into the United Kingdom Highly Skilled Migrant Programme and relocated to Wimbledon Park, London. He partnered with mainland China property developers, and facilitated their investments into the UK property development projects. After the completion of the projects, he relocated back to Malaysia in 2010
  • Joined RHB Bank Berhad in 2010 as Outlet Manager, and left in 2011
  • Joined MKH Berhad as Finance Manager in 2011; and rose through the ranks to the position of Plantation Director of the Group in 2014. In 2021, he was further appointed as Executive Director of the Company
  • He is passionate about sustainable palm oil practises and has been an international delegate at Indonesia Palm Oil Conferences since 2012 (except for periods affected by Covid-19). He has been regularly invited by authorities and industry players to share his views on policies, initiatives, mechanisation, and innovative practices relevant to the industry
